Sound Space:

SKNOW

MESS Artist in Residence Sarah Cvk (SKNOW) presents some music currently inspiring her residency and practice for MESS Sound Space ahead of the 2024 Residency Showcase at Miscellania…

SKNOW is the creative moniker of multi-disciplinary artist Sarah Cvk. Her fluid musical style weaves electronic and acoustic fibres that echo the rhythms of the natural world, drawing inspiration from the surrounding environment and its myriad creatures. Heavily influenced by live jams that organically evolve, SKNOW layers sounds and vocals to create more grounded and soothing soundscapes that go against stereotypical dance-floor energy.

Ahead of her appearance at Miscellania on August 8th for the MESS Resident Reveal Studio Showcase, SKNOW has selected some of the music that she’s been listening to and inspired by as of late.

Tune in below…

See below for the full list of tracks and Sarah’s annotations, or follow the playlist on for ondemand listening!
