Sydney based artist Alex White has orbited the outer ranges of unhinged synthesis, noise and electronics for more than a decade. Alex is currently focussed upon using modular synthesisers as composition tools, often controlling other instruments and is undertaking a PhD looking at the impacts of modular synthesisers upon composition processes

As an artist my practice has extended across sound, video and interactive installation but I am now focussed upon sound and music. My work and performances have been presented by Time Machine Festival, Cementa 13, Avant Whatever, Firstdraft Gallery, Critical Animals (This Is Not Art), Multiples, Liquid Architecture, Sound Series and Experimenta.
