This case leans heavily on modern Eurorack interpretations of classic vintage favourites and features modules from Roland (Japan), MiniMod (UK), Malekko (OR, USA), Bubblesound (NY, USA) and QU-Bit (OR, USA). Roland returned to modular in 2015 with a Malekko Heavy Industry collab, producing 5 modules called the System 500, echoing the vintage 100M series.

Similar in look and feel to the 100M, they share the classic Roland sound and clarity. Some other Malekko modules in this case from Josh Holley and Paul Barker, including the Richter Noisering, a resurrection of the classic Wiard 300 Series. A row of AJH Synth modules adds to the vintage vibe, with designer Alan J Hall bringing his background as an analogue keyboard service engineer to his Minimod range, which mimic the classic Minimoog in look, sound and function.

More retro vibes from designer David Wagenbach, who uses the original components, op-amps and transistors from the 60s and 70s to recreate the full, rich sound of synth vintage gear in his Bubblesound modules. In a departure from the vintage bent, rounding out this case is a collection of modules from Qu-Bit Electronix, whose co-founders Andrew Ikenberry and Jason Lim have a more modern computational approach to modular design, and aim to create instruments that do things no other can do. Qu-Bit also posts all their schematics and source code online free, incidentally!
