This Sputnik case is heavily inspired by the Buchla 200 series, featuring dual oscillators, quad function trigger sources, quad vcf/vcas, random voltage generators and a multitouch keyboard with that familiar Buchla feel. Originally from Russia, now based in Oregon USA, Sputnik owner and designer Roman Filippov is also known for designing Deckard’s Dream, the Eurorack interpretation of Yamaha CS30 for Black Corporation. Rounding it out are a couple of modules from Oregon’s Circuit Abbey (Tim Ressel) – Unify, a 4-channel stereo mixer, and the Unify Input Expander, which adds 4 additional channels to the Unify.
