MESS in Conversation

Up close and personal with amazing artists working in the electromagnetic realm

MESS in conversation is just that, a conversation. Each iteration of this series features an incredible artist and/or researcher working in the field of electronic sound. The format is simple. A MESS director interviews the artist in depth about their life and work. There may or may not be live demonstrations. There may or may not be video and sound montages. Anything goes really. Each artist will communicate in different ways. At the conclusion of each interview the floor is thrown open to the audience to ask further questions. It is too rarely that we hear directly from artists in an informal way. This is not an artist talk or formal presentation. The fluidity of conversation allows for a more open, less prepared dialogue.

Join us as we go deeper into the hearts and minds of the people who create the music and sound that end up, through the magic of the electromagnetic spectrum, in our minds and hearts.
