South West MESS is back in Warrnambool!
April 28 to May 7 2023
After the success of South West MESS in 2022, MESS is returning to Warnambool with a truckload of outstanding electronic instruments for a big week of hands-on workshops, talks and performances for everyone in the South West community. Based out of One Day Studios at the iconic Fletcher Jones Factory, our 2023 program will see MESS pop up across the city with remarkable sonic experiences for all to enjoy.
There are a multitude of ways to get involved! Young people have the chance to join the 10-day Sphere Student Program to kick-start or build their electronic sound journey, practicing artists and young creatives with more experience (including those that participated in last year’s student program) can check out the small-group Trylon Mentor Program, and South West teachers will have the opportunity for professional development led by Ableton in ALTeration (Ableton Live for Teachers).
