Applications close 5pm May 11th

Applications are now open for the first-ever MESS Synth Sizzle – a buy/swap/sell market for all things electronic sound.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our first-ever Synth Sizzle happening on Sunday, May 21st from 10am-4pm! This is a family-friendly event where synth enthusiasts and electronic sound lovers can come together to buy, sell, and swap second-hand electronic instruments, new products, and other electronic music-related bits and bobs.

The event will be a unique opportunity to find a hidden gem, discover new sounds, explore the latest from local makers, and connect with the MESS community.

If you’ve been thinking about that studio clear-out for a while or want to reach a new audience with your products… good news! We are now accepting expressions of interest from folks (or groups of sellers) who want to participate. As a stallholder, you can sell your second-hand instruments, gear and music equipment, new products that you’ve made yourself, books about electronic music, vinyl records (electronic music), and other electronic music-related merchandise such as tees, caps etc.

The Synth Sizzle will be held at the Old Richmond Power Station and will be part of a larger weekend of events we’re planning which includes live performances, workshops and a revived sound installation.

To express your interest, please fill out the application form. We will review your application and get in touch with you shortly.
