Ever wondered how best to care for your synth? For May’s MESS Synth Cafe, our Electronics Technician, Sam Galyer, is stepping out from the studio workshop and introducing us to synthesiser maintenance and troubleshooting.

Learn the best practices in maintaining electrical instruments, basic troubleshooting procedures, common problems you might run into and some simple fixes that anyone can do at home.

Note: This is an introduction to synthesiser maintenance and will outline some common problems and easy fixes within the parameters of electrical safety. Please do not bring any equipment with you, as this is not a workshop and Sam will not be able to repair any instruments.

What is MESS Synth Cafe?

MESS Synth Cafe is our monthly event series, especially for MESS Members. Designed to foster community and deepen your connection with electronic sound, these Saturday morning gatherings will offer a relaxed setting where you can grab a coffee and get to know other people in the community.
